Guidelines
TO ENSURE A GREAT EXPERIENCE AT THE SLATE STUDIO, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES WHEN HOSTING YOUR EVENT.

Respect Shared Spaces
In case of emergencies, a fire extinguisher and first aid kit are available in the kitchen, inside the far right cabinet
Please familiarize yourself with their location. If anything is used or missing, notify the team so we can restock.
For emergencies, please use Door 102 (main front entrance).

Food & Drink
Important Guidelines for Using the Main Entrance
When Entering Studio: Only open the right side of the double door.
When leaving the studio: Only exit through the left door.
Keeping the Door Open: If you need to prop the door open—for example, while moving equipment or loading in—use the designated doorstop provided.
Please do not use furniture, gear, or other objects to hold the door open.
And most importantly, enjoy the space.
To ensure smooth access and prevent improper studio security, please follow the guidelines below when opening or closing the studio entrance.

Safety First
Please leave all areas clean and tidy once the event is over.
Reset any moved furniture, props, or gear.
Place drinks and plates on tables, not directly on couches or rugs.
If there are any spills, please address them immediately. And return any items to their original location.
CAUTION
Dragging furniture across floors. Please lift to move items
Using tape, nails, or adhesives on walls or furniture.
Leaving trash, décor, or equipment behind after your event.
Using The Slate Studio Main Entrance
Please ensure that you do not open food or drink near equipment.
Use designated areas for meals and snacks.
Clean up immediately after eating.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Preferred: White wine, rosé, sparkling wine, champagne; clear or light cocktails; light beers and lagers.
Caution: Red wine, dark cocktails, brightly colored mixed drinks, dark beers.
NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Preferred: Water, sparkling water, clear juices, light sodas.
Caution: Coffee, tea, dark sodas, dark juices, smoothies, dairy drinks.
FOOD
Preferred: Light bites such as fruit, vegetables, cheese, crackers, pastries, and dry snacks.
Caution: Greasy, oily, or saucy foods such as pizza, curry, pasta, tacos, and burgers.
* Full meals may be served if clients ensure full cleanup, trash removal, and odor control (air fresheners recommended).
Closing The Studio
Please make sure any windows that have been opened, or doors (backdoor for bathroom use) have been closed.
Please make sure trash is put in the trash bins before leaving
When you’re ready to close, call / text the studio point of contact to ensure and confirm the studio is properly locked.
